Smart Glasses Maintenance & Cleaning
Routine maintenance helps your Iristick smart glasses perform reliably and stay compliant with hygiene protocols. Especially in sectors like agri-bio, healthcare, or food processing.
Cleaning Guidelines
You can clean Iristick smart glasses with standard screen-cleaning products as long as they don’t contain alcohol. Use sprays that are marked as safe for all screen types.
Do:
- Remove dust and loose particles before wiping
- Use a clean microfiber cloth (or equivalent lint-free material)
- Spray cleaner onto the cloth, not directly onto the glasses
- Gently wipe the lenses, display, and body
Don’t:
- Use paper towels, clothing, or tissue (they may scratch surfaces)
- Use alcohol-based sprays for regular cleaning
Disinfection (Occasional Use)
In healthcare or sterile environments, you may need to disinfect the device.
Alcohol-based disinfectants can be used occasionally on the plastic housing and lenses, but:
- Wipe off all alcohol residues with a damp cloth right after disinfection
- Prolonged exposure or dried alcohol residue may damage coatings, plastics, or painted parts
Best Practices
- Clean your glasses after every shift in sensitive environments
- Keep the included carrying case clean and dry
- Never submerge the headset or pocket unit in water
