Smart Glasses Maintenance & Cleaning

Routine maintenance helps your Iristick smart glasses perform reliably and stay compliant with hygiene protocols. Especially in sectors like agri-bio, healthcare, or food processing.

Cleaning Guidelines

You can clean Iristick smart glasses with standard screen-cleaning products as long as they don’t contain alcohol. Use sprays that are marked as safe for all screen types.

Do:

  • Remove dust and loose particles before wiping
  • Use a clean microfiber cloth (or equivalent lint-free material)
  • Spray cleaner onto the cloth, not directly onto the glasses
  • Gently wipe the lenses, display, and body

Don’t:

  • Use paper towels, clothing, or tissue (they may scratch surfaces)
  • Use alcohol-based sprays for regular cleaning

Disinfection (Occasional Use)

In healthcare or sterile environments, you may need to disinfect the device.

Alcohol-based disinfectants can be used occasionally on the plastic housing and lenses, but:

  • Wipe off all alcohol residues with a damp cloth right after disinfection
  • Prolonged exposure or dried alcohol residue may damage coatings, plastics, or painted parts

Best Practices

  • Clean your glasses after every shift in sensitive environments
  • Keep the included carrying case clean and dry
  • Never submerge the headset or pocket unit in water

Info

Keeping your device clean not only improves hygiene. It ensures better vision, reliable voice control, and longer hardware life.
