Adjusting the Heads-Up Display (HUD)

To get the best visual experience with Iristick smart glasses, you’ll want to adjust the heads-up display (HUD) to align with your eye. This ensures a sharp, readable view and allows for comfortable all-day use.

Why It Matters

Proper HUD alignment improves:

  • Visual clarity
  • Voice command accuracy (by keeping the UI in view)
  • Comfort over extended periods

Each model has a slightly different method for adjusting the HUD. Here’s how to do it based on your device.

The G2’s HUD is mounted on a flexible arm and can be adjusted in four directions. You can also tilt the display itself up or down by about 30–40 degrees.

Adjust the G2 for Your Dominant Eye

  • Push the arm outward to the right.
  • Rotate the display down toward your eye.
  • Line it up just above your line of sight — or pivot it out of view when not needed.

This allows you to toggle between focused viewing and an unobstructed field of vision.

The H1 supports both left and right eye dominant users. If you're unsure which eye is dominant, watch this short video.

Adjust the H1 for Your Dominant Eye

  • Use the 3-axis arm to position the HUD in front of or just above your eye.
  • Tilt and rotate the HUD for best alignment.
  • If needed, swap the connector piece to the opposite side to switch eye orientation. A 1.5mm hex key is required.

Once adjusted, the HUD should sit comfortably in your field of view without straining your eyes or interfering with your surroundings.
