Tips
Practical tips to get the most out of Iristick.Teams.
Which Meetings Show Up
Iristick.Teams displays meetings from your Microsoft 365 calendar with a few conditions:
- Only today's meetings are shown — past and future days are not displayed.
- The meeting invitation must come from an account with a Microsoft 365 Business Basic (or higher) license. Invites from free or personal Microsoft accounts won't appear.
- You must be an invitee on the meeting — meetings you weren't invited to won't show up, even if they're in your organization.
Testing tip
When verifying the setup, create a meeting for today and invite the test user from a Business Basic+ account. If the meeting doesn't appear, check the organizer's license tier first.
Meeting Organizer Joining with Smart Glasses
If you're organizing a Microsoft Teams meeting and also want to join using your Iristick smart glasses, you'll need to adjust your meeting settings beforehand.
By default, Teams meetings require the organizer to admit participants from the lobby. Since the lobby admission feature is not yet available in Iristick.Teams, you won't be able to let yourself in when joining from the smart glasses.
Solution: Configure your meeting so attendees can join directly without waiting in the lobby.
How to configure this
- Open the meeting in Microsoft Teams (calendar or meeting details)
- Go to Meeting options
- Find the setting Who can bypass the lobby
- Set it to Everyone (or the appropriate scope for your meeting)
- Save the changes
With this setting enabled, you can seamlessly join your own meeting from the smart glasses without needing someone else to admit you.
Tip
This setting also improves the experience for other participants joining via Iristick.Teams or similar devices that don't support lobby management.
