Data Synchronisation

Iristick.Collector automatically syncs templates, asset lists, and collected observations between your device and the cloud. depending on your connection status and usage.

Syncing Templates & Asset Lists

  • Templates and asset lists are pulled from the cloud on app startup or when pressing the "+" button to start a new observation.
  • You’ll always collect using the latest version available.

Syncing Observations

  • Your data syncs one way only, from the app to the portal.
  • Observations are sent once you say “Stop Observation” → “Yes” and have an active internet connection.
  • If you're offline when you stop the session, the observation is stored locally on your phone and will sync automatically once you're back online.

The app doesn’t re-download previous data once synced. This keeps your phone lean. Especially important when working with thousands of records or photos.

You’ll find all synced observations in the portal at collector.iristick.app under the Observations tab.
