Collector Mobile App Overview

The Collector app is your hands-free field tool. It lets you walk, inspect, and score assets using your Iristick smart glasses, guided entirely by voice.

Everything you do in the app is based on the setup you've prepared in the Collector Portal:

  • Templates define what to score
  • Asset lists define what to score it on

Key Capabilities

You can use the Collector app with or without smart glasses. On a smartphone alone, you still get access to all data collection functionality. However, without the full hands-free experience that Iristick smart glasses provide.

  • Navigate and input data entirely with voice commands
  • Score traits using numbers, predefined values, speech-to-text, barcodes, or pictures
  • Use offline, sync when you’re back online
  • Adjust experience settings to fit your workflow

Personalize Your Workflow

Inside the app settings, you can fine-tune the experience:

  • Auto-advance on numerical traits — skip to the next step automatically after input
  • Voice feedback — hear confirmation of commands and entries
  • Navigation preferences — control how you move between assets and steps

These small tweaks make a big difference in comfort and speed.

Data Syncing

  • Collector works fully offline while you're in the field

  • You only need an internet connection to:

  • Sync the latest templates and asset lists

  • Upload collected data to the portal

As soon as you're back online, data syncs automatically to collector.iristick.app and is ready for review or export.
